Setting Goals

Our ward recently set a goal to have every person in the ward find a family name and take them to the temple for ward temple day. The youth collected over 500 names alone. It was astounding. I know that setting goals is a great way to get things happening. So think about what you and your family can do.

Some goals to think about:
  • Schedule a specific time each week (Sundays are always a great day) to log in to family search.
  • Aim to achieve a certain number of indexing points by the end of the reunion.
  • Set a number of temple names you'd like to gather.
  • Think about how often you can attend the temple, and try to take a family name with you whenever possible.
